Where close observation becomes shared understanding
I am a plant biologist, scientific data consultant, educator, and science communicator with a PhD in Plant Biology, a Designated Emphasis in Biotechnology, and formal training in science communication.
My work has moved from plant nanobionics at MIT to living cells viewed in four dimensions, and from research manuscripts to animation, teaching, mentorship, and public conversation. Across those spaces, I keep returning to the same question: how can we help someone look closely enough to understand what the science is showing us?
